Hello Greater Impact Family,
God is good! His hand of protection has been upon us and we rejoice in His loving care!
By His grace, we have weathered the initial storm of COVID-19 and are now in the beginning stages of recovery. We anticipate that soon we will be able to worship together without fear, limits, or restrictions. But, in the meantime, we are taking the following steps to bring us back together in a safe and healthy manner.
DRIVE-IN WORSHIP at 9:00 AM provides a low-risk worship opportunity for our community which many have taken advantage of throughout COVID-19 limitations. We plan to continue this venue for the foreseeable future.
OUTDOOR WORSHIP at 11:00 AM also provides a low-risk opportunity to gather within prescribed COVID-19 guidelines. Bring a blanket or chair along with a facemask and let us worship the Lord together as we practice social distancing protocols.
IMPACT KIDS are also meeting outdoors under a tent at 11:00 AM. Steps are being taken to ensure their health and safety, including social distancing and the wearing of face masks by our staff. A registration booth is set up out front and your child/children will be escorted by a certified staff member to the Impact Kids worship area. Bathroom facilities are available for both children and adults with limited access and required disinfecting after each use. The playground, however, will remain closed until COVID-19 restrictions are lifted.
INDOOR WORSHIP is planned to resume on July 11th and 12th. Due to the limited capacity and social distancing guidelines, we are introducing two Worship Experiences to accommodate everyone: Saturday Nights at 6:00 p.m. and Sunday Mornings at 11:00 a.m. The restrictions surrounding our move inside will require everyone to register for the Experience they plan to attend so that we can save a space for you.
ONLINE WORSHIP will continue on Sunday mornings at 9:00 and 11:00 through Facebook Live and our “Greater Impact MD” You Tube channel and directly to our website on the Worship Expericence tab. We love you and would love to see you, but if you have COVID-19, have been around someone with COVID-19 in the past two weeks, or have COVID-19 symptoms (cough, shortness of breath, fever, chills, muscle pain, sore throat, or new loss of taste or smell) please join us at our online experiences instead.
We are looking forward to being able to connect with you through one or more of these venues. Stay safe and do everything in your power to protect others by following national and state health guidelines wherever you go. This will hopefully speed our return to unrestricted worship gatherings.
